FallFest: Spider-Man India: A Conversation with Adam Kubert and Nikesh Shukla
Join the RIT Cary Graphic Arts Collection in welcoming two of the creators of the comic book series, Spider-Man India. Marvel illustrator and RIT Alumnus Adam Kubert BFA '81 has worked in the comic book industry since a teenager, illustrating titles such as Wolverine, The X-Men, The Incredible Hulk, and The Avengers. Novelist and screenwriter, Nikesh Shukla is the author of a recent memoir Brown Baby, the young adult novel The Boxer, and the editor of the collected works The Good Immigrant.
Kubert and Shukla will discuss their work on Spider-Man India in a conversation moderated by Alesha Williams (College of Art and Design) at 6:00 p.m. in Ingle Auditorium, followed by a reception and signing at 7:00 p.m. in the newly renovated Wallace Library and The Kubert Lounge and Gallery. The event is free and open to the public. Registration for this event is closed.
