First Friday Bus Shuttles

The RIT community is invited to engage in First Friday, Rochester's monthly city-wide gallery night that encourages collaboration between art venues. A free bus shuttle will transport interested students, faculty and staff from campus to downtown, and back, on three dates during the fall semester: Sept. 6, Oct. 4, and Nov. 1.  Fee for admission to Sept. 6 event at Rochester Contemporary Art Center is $2, but fee will be waived at the door if you show your RIT ID.

First Friday is a showcase of artists exhibiting at Rochester's several downtown art institutions, including RIT City Art Space. It runs from 6-9 p.m. the first Friday of every month. 

RIT Fall First Friday Bus Schedule (Sept. 6, Oct. 4, and Nov. 1)

5:45 p.m. - pick up at RIT North Bus Shelter, followed by drop off downtown (for Sept. 6 event it will be at Rochester Contemporary Art Center, 137 East Avenue)

6:45 p.m. - Second pick up at North Bus Shelter, followed by drop off downtown and picking up anyone hoping to return to campus

7:45 p.m. - Third pick up at North Bus Shelter/downtown drop off and campus return

8:45 p.m. - Final pickup from downtown and return to campus
