Flavors of Africa at Crossroads: International Education Week
Take part in International Education Week with RIT DIning by going to the Cafe & Market at Crossroads on Wednesday, Nov. 17 for a special menu, featuring African cuisine.

Lam Mafe served over Jollof Rice with Roosterkoek Bread
Vegetable Tagine with Seasonal Vegetables (Vegetarian)

Learn about what this African cuisine is:
Mafe' is a Senegalese stew, made with tomato and peanut sauce with lamb, beef, or chicken.
Jollof rice is a West African rice dish cooked in a warm spiced tomato broth.
Tagine is a North African stew made with plenty of warm spices.
Roosterkoek is a South African yeast dough roll that is baked over the coals of a barbeque.
Samosa is a South African fried or baked pastry with a savory filling of potatoes, peas, chicken or beef, or vegetables.
