RIT's School of Design is hosting Carlos Bautista as part of the 2024 cohort in the Future Faculty Career Exploration Program. Bautista is a Ph.D. student at Virginia Tech, specializing in human-computer interaction, computer supported cooperative work and social computing and human-centered design. He is scheduled to present on his research from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, in the SHED, room 1300.

The Future Faculty Career Exploration Program, orchestrated by the Office of Faculty Diversity and Recruitment, is a rigorous four-day program designed for individuals to experience a behind the scenes glimpse into life as a faculty member at RIT. Participants have the opportunity to engage with RIT's diverse administration, faculty, and students while on campus. The program offers additional opportunities to enhance interview skills, practice job-talk presentations, and explore the research, teaching, and service expectations of RIT Faculty members.
