Although it is quite young among computing PhD programs, started in 2006, it has already gained national high reputation, as evidenced from reputation-based US News ranking and top-tier publication based CSRANKINGS.org ranking (RIT is currently ranked 56th and is emerging as a high-ranked program in AI, cybersecurity, and human-computer interaction).
