Information Session for Ph.D. Program in Mathematical Modeling
Use mathematics to understand and predict the world!Information Session for PhD Program in Mathematical ModelingDate: Thursday, November 21, 2019Location: Gosnell A300Time: 5:00 – 6:30pmJoin us on Thursday, November 21 to learn about RIT’s interdisciplinary program in Mathematical Modeling! This program will train you to become an expert in formulating complex real-world problems mathematically, integrating data with models, devising and implementing algorithms, analyzing and interpreting solutions, and communicating results to others.Mathematical modeling will prepare you for careers in employment sectors that include corporate research and development, defense laboratories, government agencies, and academia.Support will be available through research and teaching assistantships. All completed applications submitted by January 15, 2019 will be reviewed; applications completed later will be reviewed on a space-available basis.Interpreters provided upon request subject to availability.
