Innovations in Global Public Health Conference
The Global Public Health Association @ RIT with support from RIT’s College of Health Sciences and Technology, RIT Global, and RIT Global Union proudly presents our 6th Annual Innovations in Global Public Health Conference on Saturday, April 20th from 9 AM to 4 PM in the impressive new building known as the SHED (https://www.rit.edu/shed). This year’s conference focuses on the important theme of mental health with speakers hailing from Haiti, The Dominican Republic, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, India, and the USA. Our keynote speakers will be providing a timely update on the situation in Haiti and their efforts to create sustainable improvements for the people of that Caribbean nation that has endured so many challenges.
Because of the financial backing of our sponsors, we are able to offer this event at the low presale price of $3 for RIT faculty, staff, and students and $5 for all others. There is a limited capacity for this event of 150 attendees, so there is no guarantee that tickets will be available at the door. If we do have remaining tickets available on the day of the conference, they will be sold at an increased price. Presale tickets are strongly recommended to help us plan for our food and beverage needs for the day and to ensure you can get one of the 150 available seats. Don’t wait as tickets are going fast!
Your ticket allows you to participate in all educational sessions, as well as a morning healthy yogurt bar, lunch, snacks, drinks, a networking time, and GPHA @ RIT swag. Please scan the QR code on the event flyer or go to groups.rit.edu/gharit/speakers-and-bios-6th-annual-conference/ to learn more about our amazing speakers!
