Learning Assistant (LA) Recruitment Event
This is a recruitment event for the position of a Learning Assistant (LA). Students will have the opportunity to learn about what it's like to be an LA, the difference between an LA and a TA, and the benefits of being an LA. They also will learn some logistics of being an LA and what's expected of students in that position. Finally, they will get to hear testimonies of an LA regarding their experience in both TA and LA positions.
Intended Audience:
Undergraduate students interested in becoming a Learning Assistant.
The LA program is open to all STEM majors as well as ASL-related majors.
