Love Data Week: Managing Your Data Privacy
We’ve seen a lot in the news about data privacy and other data-related issues! Join Ben Woelk, Information Security Office Program Manager, as he discusses the steps you can take to better protect your online privacy. He’ll discuss the importance and implications of EULAs (End User License Agreements) and TOSs (Terms of Service), and the privacy tools you have at your disposal within social media and being offered by Google, Apple, and others.
Ben Woelk ‘07, CISSP, CPTC, is Information Security Office Program Manager and completed an Advanced Certificate in Technical Information Design from RIT. Ben is responsible for Security Awareness and Training at RIT and is an active member of the EDUCAUSE Higher Education Information Security Council. Ben is currently teaching PUBL363 Cyber Security and Law, TCOM333 Technical Writing and Editing, and SOIS299 Introverts and Leadership.
