Luvon Sheppard Gallery Talk
RIT City Art Space presents a gallery talk with beloved School of Art Professor Luvon Sheppard and Gallery Director John Aasp at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12.
We ask that you RSVP for the gallery talk. Face masks are required. The event is in conjunction with Sheppard's solo exhibition, "Jubilee," which is on view through Dec. 19.
Interpreting services can be requested through myaccess.rit.edu.
The show features recent and classic work by the trailblazer of art, education and community collaboration. It highlights just a few examples of Sheppard's work as an artist. It includes a selection of his signature watercolor paintings, natural landscape paintings done en plein air and his most recent works, made by the act of tearing and cutting fragments of his own watercolor paintings which are then reassembled into mixed-media collages.
