Saunders College of Business is proud to host the 2025 McClure Lecture Series featuring Bill Imada, founder and chairman of IW Group, a top multicultural marketing agency based in Los Angeles. The McClure Lecture Series is provided through the McClure Professorship in Marketing. Supporting Saunders’ B.S. in marketing, the series invites the top experts in marketing to speak on campus or virtually at Saunders College of Business.

About Bill Imada
Bill Imada is a respected and influential leader in the field of marketing and communications, known for his expertise in multicultural advertising and public relations. As the founder and chairman of IW Group, a top multicultural marketing agency based in Los Angeles, Bill has built a reputation for creating innovative campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
With over three decades of experience in the industry, Bill Imada has been instrumental in helping Fortune 500 companies navigate and succeed in multicultural markets.Bill has worked with some of the most iconic brands, including McDonald's, Netflix, Nielsen, Southern California Edison, Toyota, Walmart, Walt Disney, Warner Bros, Wells Fargo and many others. His strategic insights and deep understanding of cultural nuances have made him a sought-after advisor for brands looking to connect authentically with consumers from various backgrounds.
Bill is active in the community and serves on more than a dozen boards and advisory councils, including the Advertising Educational Foundation, Asian & Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship, Center for Asian American Media, Institute for Public Relations, LAGRANT Foundation, PBS SoCal, USC PR Advisory Council, Western Connecticut State University Marketing Advisory Council, among others.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bill is actively involved in philanthropy and community service. He serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations dedicated to education, diversity, and social justice, reflecting his commitment to making a positive impact beyond the business world. Bill was also a member of President Obama's Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
Bill's most recent endeavor is co-founding the National Millennial and Gen Z Community, an organization devoted to helping college students and young professionals elevate their profiles as leaders and problem-solvers. Since its founding in 2016, the Community has grown from seven co-founding colleges and universities to more than 45. Today the group's membership spans 45 states, Washington, D.C. and Guam. Its members have met with more than 360 executives from 200 different corporations, nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies, and foundations.
In 2022, Bill was named to the PR Week Hall of Fame. Bill was also inducted into the American Advertising Federation's 2024 Advertising Hall of Fame.
About the McClure Lecture Series
J. Warren McClure was a World War II Navy veteran and former publisher and owner of the Burlington Free Press. He sold the newspaper to Gannett Co., where he later became the first president of marketing. McClure, who turned to philanthropy in retirement, and his wife, Lois, were important members of the RIT community. McClure served on the RIT board of trustees from 1973 until 1986, was an advisor to the Saunders College of Business, and established the McClure Professorship in Marketing which includes lectures by marketing experts in the field.
