Through the Public Speaking Contest, the School of Communication aims to increase campus awareness of public speaking and to actively involve students in its practice during the academic year.

In 6-8 minutes, RIT students will seek to persuade an audience on a topic of local, regional, national, or international concern. A panel of faculty judges narrowed the field to three finalists. The three finalists will today compete for first, second, and third place awards.

Refreshments will be provided.
