McClure Lecture Featuring Jeff Jarvis
Sharing in the Digital Age – Privacy, Fake News, Facebook, Net Neutrality, and Digital Lives Join us for the 10th J. Warren McClure Lecture featuring Jeff Jarvis. Jarvis is the author of Geeks Bearing Gifts: Imagining New Futures for News, Public Parts: How Sharing in the Digital Age Improves the Way We Work and Live, What Would Google Do?, and the Kindle Single Gutenberg the Geek. He also blogs about media and news at Buzzmachine.com and cohosts the podcast This Week in Google. The McClure Lecture is provided through the McClure Professorship in Marketing, which invites the top experts in marketing to speak on campus at Saunders College of Business.
The lecture will take place on the RIT Campus, in the Carlson Center for Imaging Science, Carlson Auditorium (room 1125), from 11:30-12:30 pm. The talk will be followed by a reception at Saunders College of Business from 12:45 - 1:45 pm in the Multipurpose Room. Parking for external guests will be available in S lot.
