NSPW: National Suicide Prevention Week Kick Off
Counseling and Psychological Services, Case Management, and Health Promotion have partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to kick off Connection is Prevention Week at RIT in honor of National Suicide Prevention Week.
Programs this week focus on the importance of connecting with one another in an effort toward mental wellness and preventing suicide. During our kickoff event, we will introduce the Honor Bead program adapted from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Beads will be available throughout the week - each color represents one’s personal connection to the cause and helps our community to see the visual representation of connectedness between us all and how suicide impacts our community collectively.
Join us to start and continue the important conversation around suicide prevention. We look forward to connecting with you!
