'Process and Purpose' Printmaking Exhibit
A group exhibition featuring printmaking work by RIT College of Art and Design alumni and faculty and others is coming to RIT City Art Space. “Process and Purpose” opened at the downtown Rochester venue on July 18 and is on view through Aug. 24. A free, open-to-the-public reception is set for 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2.
Curated by RIT School of Art professor Alan Singer, the invitational show highlights exciting new strategies of today’s contemporary printmakers. The exhibit includes work by School of Art professor Eileen Bushnell, Bevier Gallery coordinator Shane Durgee '16 MFA (fine arts studio), Sarah Kinard '18 MFA (fine arts studio), Kumi Korf, Craig Mains, Minna Resnick, Nick Ruth and Singer.
