Restoring Legacy: Timeless Beauty of Bertoia's Dandelion Sculptures

Join the Vignelli Center for Design Studies for a presentation and conversation with project leaders and collaborators from RIT and Cornell University who will share the rich history of the Bertoia Golden Dandelion sculptures which they have been working on cleaning and restoring over the past year. Having been awarded external grant funding, this is a collaboration between the RIT Archives and Vignelli Center for Design Studies. For those interested in the intersection of art and design, Harry Bertoia’s legacy is a unique inflection point in the history of Modernism.

The event is set for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, in University Gallery.
