RIT-RISE invites all science scholars who are deaf and hard-of-hearing and interested in working in a research lab environment for an informational and interactive workshop on making the most of the mentor/mentee experience. Working with a mentor can be an intimidating part of science and research environments. This workshop aims to orient and resource students for effective mentorship experiences that will bolster their science careers while in college. Join us on Tuesday, April 6 from 2:00-3:00pm!

As a deaf/hard of hearing mentee, what can you expect when working with a hearing mentor? How can students benefit from mentoring? What factors make for a great mentorship experience? This Mentor Training Series presentation will share information and tips to make the most of the mentorship experience.
