The COVID-19 pandemic drastically changed work conditions for sign language interpreters. This mixed-methods research investigated the mental and physical health and job satisfaction of interpreters, their readiness to change, and barriers/facilitators to working remotely during the pandemic. Personal impressions and experience with the technical aspects of working remotely were also compared with onsite and across interpreting settings.
