RIT Story Slam - Preliminary Rounds

Students are invited to participate in a live storytelling competition where they tell a personal, true story inspired by the theme *CONNECTION.* Tell us how you’ve connected to nature, your purpose, your past, your lost loved ones, or your inner self. Your story about reconnecting with an old friend. Share your challenges with connecting in a socially distant world, or a reflection of a connection lost.
Preliminary round 1: Monday, March 28 3pm-4pm (NTID Dance Lab 1831)
Preliminary round 2:Thursday, March 31 11am-12pm (Bamboo Room)
Preliminary round 3: Thursday, March 31 12pm-1pm (Bamboo Room)
Final round: Saturday, April 23, at Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival
Storytellers who most creatively apply the theme and tell their stories in ways that inspire, amuse, surprise, or captivate will be selected to advance to the final round and compete for cash prizes! Finalists’ stories will be told alongside RIT/NTID performance group Dangerous Signs.
