Roc Art Collectors Talk with Erich S. Lehman
Join a provocative talk centered on RIT City Art Space current exhibition titled “SKETCHY!” — an fascinating look at the art that has played an integral role in the history of skateboarding.
Rochester Art Collectors is partnering with RIT City Art Space and one of Rochester's most important art collectors, art curators and art influencers, Erich S. Lehman, owner of 1975 Gallery and lead systems administrator/manager in the College of Art and Design, for the event.
Lehman will lead the talk from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, at RIT City Art Space (280 East Main St. Rochester, N.Y. 14604). The event is free but due to limited space registration is required.
“SKETCHY!” is a trip through the art and creativity of skateboarding, featuring a look back at over 25 years of Rochester skate photography, decades of skateboard graphics, and the fine art of the skateboarding world.
Located steps away from one of Rochester’s most iconic skate spots — Liberty Pole — “SKETCHY!” is on view through Sunday, Aug. 4. A closing reception is set for Friday, Aug. 2.
