This guest lecture will be open to all CVET students, and you will learn how civil engineers work in the power systems engineering field. The topics include:
1. Power Generation: Renewable energy vs. fossil fuels and industry trends.
2. Transmission Engineering: A brief overview of the “grid” and how it works.
3. Distribution Engineering: How power gets from generation to the customer.
