"Send Silence Packing" is written in blue and green seriff font. The word "Silence" is italicized.

As part of National Suicide Prevention Month programming, RIT has partnered with Active Minds to bring their traveling display, Send Silence Packing, to campus. This immersive experience shares the stories of those that have struggled with mental health challenges and suicide in the hopes of changing the way people think and talk about mental health challenges, suicide, and how we can better support our fellow community members.

This exhibit consists of four parts, the story labyrinth (where backpack memorials stand with stories donated from individuals or their loved ones), the behind the backpacks theater that goes more in-depth with the stories in the labyrinth, a resource tent, and a hope wall where participants can leave messages of encouragement to their peers.

Come join us in this moment of reflection and hope as we as a campus come together to show support for one another.
