Tiger Tales: Story Time for Young Children
Event Image
This special weekend story time features stories celebrating diversity and focused on acceptance and compassion. Exposing children to literature that presents people of different cultures in a positive light and celebrates their diversity is one simple first step to creating better citizens and a just society. We will be reading two to three specially curated books, sharing songs/fingerplays, and providing a simple activity/craft. This event is open to the entire RIT community and the general public. Content is geared to children ages 1-5; all ages are welcome. We proudly feature Dr. Shelitha Williams, AVP of Student Development, as our Guest Reader.
