University Council Meeting
University Council (UC) brings together representatives from the three governance groups of the university: Faculty Senate, Staff Council, and Student Government. The president, the provost, vice presidents, and deans are also represented on the Council, which addresses university-level policies and facilitates communication among the constituents of the university. UC develops and reviews institutional priorities and acts as a forum through which current or continuing issues of higher education can be discussed. Meetings are held monthly and are attended by members of all 3 governance groups, deans, administrators, interested fac/staff and students. Meetings include President's Report, 2-6 topics/presentations and may include voting on policy recommendations. Agendas and minutes are posted at www.rit.edu/universitycouncil.
