WiCHacks 2023
WiCHacks, Women in Computing at RIT’s annual gender minority hackathon, is happening again! A hackathon is a collaborative creation marathon in which participants create an app, website, game, or other project, typically with a focus on computing, over the course of the event. Participants(“Hackers”) have a great opportunity to develop new skills, improve existing knowledge, and network outside of the traditional classroom setting. This event is open to people of all skill levels and knowledge, whether you are a seasoned developer or haven’t ever developed a computing project. WiCHacks provides a safe place to learn while having a great time, and developing the future of computing! When: March 4th + 5th, 2023 Where: MAGIC Spell Studios at RIT, or digitally over Discord Eligibility: All students 18+ who are currently enrolled in a university, college, or high school, who identify as an underrepresented gender in the computing space(female, transgender, non-binary, etc.)
