Batteries and Functional Nanomaterial Lab
The primary function of this lab is to produce process and test many of the battery focused nano-materials used in the development of micropower devices in the Nanopower Research Laboratories (NPRL). It is equipped to facilitate research for most wet chemistry and CVD processes as well as the fabrication and testing of power devices.
This Lab offers:
- VAC gloveboxes equipped with Argon Gas
- Arbin battery testing systems for shot and long term testing of coin and pouch cell batteries
- Chemical fume hoods and bench-top exhaust systems
- Support for battery materials research and testing
