MAGIC Spell Studios is 52,000-square-foot facility where a community of faculty and student game designers, programmers, filmmakers and animators collaborate with industry partners to build entertainment and interactive experiences. It expands the capacity of RIT’s School of Film and Animation while supporting research and entrepreneurial activities in Western New York. Part of MAGIC's mission includes making this state-of-the-art facility available for industry and commercial use, adding MAGIC to the growing list of production resources available in the Rochester region. MAGIC Spell Studio's world-class resources include: 

  • a 7,000-square-foot sound stage
  • Post-production sound mixing suite
  • Color correction suite
  • Dolby Atmos 4K theater where students screen their films
  • Animation labs
