At each intersection, change to a path of a different color from the color you were just on—any different color. U-turns are prohibited. Find the least number of moves to the SHED.
About the puzzlemaker
Matthew Coppenbarger, an associate professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics in the College of Science, has taught at RIT since 2001. In addition to the lofty-sounding topics that one might expect a mathematician to study (differential equations, discrete mathematics, combinatorics), Coppenbarger has a fondness for puzzles, games, and other things that an 8-year old might find of interest.
