Agilent Technologies manager discusses personal marketing tactics for employability
Stacy Kalisz Johnson, the eMarketing Manager for Agilent Technologies, is the featured speaker at the next Kate Gleason College of Engineering Dean’s Alumni Speaker Series. She will present “Marketing Yourself and Making Yourself Employable” at 1 p.m. April 19 in the Xerox Auditorium.
In her professional career, she combines technical expertise, especially in the area of surface-mount technology, with sales, marketing and customer communication. Her presentation will touch on how engineering graduates can develop similar tactics and strategies to find employment, build and maintain networks within industry and map career advancement.
Prior to joining Agilent, Johnson worked at Motorola as a package development engineer, later moving into the area of test and measurement equipment strategies. In 2007, she joined Agilent as a marketing development manager working on event-based marketing, social media and e-communications. She was recently promoted to the Americas eMarketing Manager role.
Johnson received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from RIT in 1996. She also earned a master’s certificate in project management from George Washington University.
