The RIT community can watch a live stream of Tuesday’s dedication ceremony of the Additive Manufacturing and Multifunctional Printing (or AMPrint) Center.

The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. A Ustream app is available for both Android and iOS mobile devices; after downloading, search “RIT Events” to find the stream.

The AMPrint Center, located on the fourth floor of RIT’s Institute Hall, brings together university and corporate researcher-scientists to advance two industries that the region is noted for—printing and imaging—in a way that will significantly impact manufacturing in New York state and the nation. The dedication will feature center staff, led by Denis Cormier, the Brinkman Professor in RIT’s Kate Gleason College of Engineering, along with state officials and local and regional corporate partners such as Xerox, Stratasys and Sensor Films.
