Event focuses on celebration and overview of university research
Provost Jeremy Haefner and Vice President for Research Ryne Raffaelle are hosting a celebration and overview of research activities being conducted by RIT faculty, staff and students. The event seeks to promote work being done on campus and enhance opportunities for collaboration.
Being held 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 17 in Louise Slaughter Hall, room 2240, the event will include presentations by Haefner and Raffaelle, a retrospective on the history of research at RIT and a review of future prospects.
“RIT is creating an increasingly diverse and productive research environment, and this event is an opportunity to celebrate our accomplishments,” Raffaelle says. “I encourage all RIT community members to come and learn about the exciting and groundbreaking research being conducted across the university.”
