Fokoue and Babbitt host DataFest
Ernest Fokoue, professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, and Greg Babbitt, associate professor in the Thomas H. Gosnell School of Life Sciences, hosted RIT’s annual DataFest in March. The event challenged teams of undergraduate students to extract meaning from a large, complex dataset over a weekend of collaboration and analysis. Faculty and data scientists from Wegmans served as consultants and judges.
