Gehret and Elliot publish on e-learning for deaf, hard-of-hearing students
Austin Gehret, associate professor and chair of NTID’s Department of Science and Mathematics, and Lisa Elliot, research associate professor in NTID’s Office of the Associate Dean for Research, published “Perceptions of e-learning by deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) students using asynchronous multimedia tutorials in Educational Technology Research and Development.” The paper examines how DHH students engage with e-learning and its alignment with the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning.
