Marshall Watson is the first winner in the RIT Facebook Photo Challenge. Watson’s photograph, “Greek Row,” led the field of more than 175 photos that were uploaded during the first week of the contest.

Watson is a first-year new media interactive development major from Myerstown, Pa.

Weekly winners in the contest—seeking the best photography of clubs, sports and other activities on campus—are eligible for $50 gift certificates from Barnes & Noble @ RIT.

To enter, become a fan of RIT’s main Facebook Fan Page. Next, upload a photo to the wall with a caption beginning, “Photo Challenge.”

Deadline for week 2 is 4 p.m. this Friday. The photo with the most “likes” wins.

Note to week 1 participants: Your entries still count.

The contest will run for several weeks.
