Ideas sought for RIT’s Vision 2025
What will RIT become in 15 years, and how can the university enhance its opportunities during that time frame? Faculty, staff, students and administrators are being asked to consider the possibilities as part of the new Vision 2025 initiative.
Vision 2025 has been launched jointly through the Office of the President and the Office of the Provost to generate ideas and concepts that may define RIT for the coming decades. RIT President Bill Destler provided the framework for this discussion during his Open Administration presentation in January, outlining six “vision pillars” for the university during the coming years.
Ideas related to how RIT’s current direction might expand or change—including new initiatives on campus and partnerships with members of the community at large—are welcome. There’s even an opportunity to weigh in on previously submitted suggestions. Details on the process and criteria for submitting ideas are available on the Vision 2025 Web site.
The deadline for submissions is April 30.
