Kurinec collaborates on international photovoltaic systems course
Santosh Kurinec, professor in the Department of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering, collaborated with Fabian Scheller, professor at Technische Hochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt in Germany, to develop the course “Harvesting the Sun: Engineering, Economics, and Sustainability of Photovoltaic Systems.” Offered during International Teaching Week in June, the course addresses renewable energy generation and delivery and the importance of bringing together engineering and business students to collaborate. Kurinec also represented RIT at the Intersolar Europe Exhibition in May in Munich.
