“Mud Tug” at RIT to Benefit Cancer Foundation, Sept. 17

RIT's Phi Kappa Psi and Zeta Tau Alpha host annual Mud Tug Charity Event on Sept.17

An all-out tug of war in the mud, hosted by members of the Greek community at Rochester Institute of Technology, may play an important role in helping save lives.

Phi Kappa Psi and Zeta Tau Alpha invite the public to take part in the 10th annual Mud Tug. The event begins at noon Saturday, Sept.17, on the RIT campus and will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Teams of 10 members will face off behind Grace Watson Hall as part of a fun-filled afternoon of friendly competition. The Mud Tug has grown into a popular event at RIT—a tradition for both Greek and non-Greek organizations alike.

“The best part is getting completely filthy and seeing brown people running around everywhere,” says Matt Lawson, Phi Kappa Psi member. “It’s a great way for the community to get together and donate time and money to help others.”

Registration is $5, which goes directly to support the foundation.
