Alumnus gives RIT $50 million to foster entrepreneurship and cybersecurity
A 2009 alumnus has given RIT $50 million, the largest donation ever made to the university and one of the largest ever in the region. The unprecedented gift comes from Austin McChord, founder and CEO of Datto, a Connecticut-based data protection company. -

More than 3,500 teams from around the world will be part of the 2018 FIRST Robotics Kick Off, viewing a live, worldwide telecast at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 6. The Finger Lakes Regional competition takes place March 16-17 at the Gordon Field House. -
