Student group wins award for sustainable shaver
RIT’s student chapter of Engineers for a Sustainable World won an award in the national Cradle to Cradle Challenge for their model of a sustainable razor that could help decrease the environmental impact of billions of disposable razors that are discarded each year. -

Adrienne Decker, an associate professor of interactive games and media, has been named the Fram Faculty Fellow in Applied Critical Thinking. Decker will work to identify and strengthen applied critical thinking across disciplines. -

AMPrint Center receives liquid metal 3D printer
High costs of powdered metals and the need for 3D printing/additive manufacturing equipment that can accommodate these materials are challenges that are being met by RIT and Vader Systems. RIT recently installed Vader’s first Mk1 liquid metal 3D printer in the AMPrint Center. -
