The RIT community is invited to give a warm welcome to its 10th president, David C. Munson Jr., when he arrives on campus at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. He will be greeted by a welcome line that will extend along the walkway from the parking lot to his office in Eastman Hall.

Gary Behm has been named interim associate vice president for academic affairs at NTID and will oversee NTID’s academic departments, curriculum, course scheduling, degree certification, communication services and assessment, and faculty/staff professional development.

RIT leads universities in New York with seven federally funded summer research programs for undergraduate students. Eight to 10 students per program work with RIT researchers for 10 weeks. The newest Research Experience for Undergraduates program focuses on multimessenger astrophysics.
