Preble concludes course on photonic integrated circuits

Stefan Preble, a professor in the Department of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering, concluded a 10-week online course on fabless design of photonic integrated circuits (PIC-1) within the AIM Photonics Foundry. Students engaged in an in-depth exploration of fabless photonics design using industry-leading Electronic Photonic Design Automation (EPDA) software to model, simulate, layout, and error-check photonic integrated circuits for high-tech applications.
