BOCES School Business Partnership Service hosts programs at RIT

Game Plan, a new summer program designed by BOCES and the Monroe County School Business Partnership.

Planning for future careers starts as early as high school. Local high school students can explore college and career options through Game Plan, a new summer program designed by BOCES and the Monroe County School Business Partnership.

The summer program is open to students who will enter 9th or 10th grade in the fall. Over a series of four half-day sessions, the students will assess personal and education skills and how to link the skills to educational choices, and they will explore career options.

Students have four session options; they select one session and attend all four days, Monday through Thursday. Sessions will be limited to 25 participants. All sessions take place at Rochester Institute of Technology:

  • Session 1: 8:30 a.m.–noon, July 18–21
  • Session 2: 1–4:30 p.m., July 18–21
  • Session 3: 8:30 a.m.–noon, Aug. 1–4
  • Session 4: 1–4:30 p.m., Aug. 1–4

The early registration fee is $125 before July 1. After this date, the fee is $135, if space is available.
