Registration is open for RIT Kids on Campus
Sessions held in July
Registration is happening now for the Rochester Institute of Technology Kids on Campus summer program for middle and high school students.
The program gives students the chance to create graphics for a rock band, design and program their own video games, build and animate stop-motion puppets, manipulate photographs, write and animate their own cartoon short and build virtual 3-D models.
The two-week, full-day workshops are led by professors, teachers and experts in their fields. Sessions run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 5-15 and July 18-29 on the RIT campus. The fee is $700 for the first session and $775 for the second session. Both fees include lunch. Workshops have been developed for beginner through advanced learners and are offered at three grade levels: 7-8, 8-10 and 10-12.
