Research faculty wins NASA grant
Aaron Gerace, research faculty in the Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science, won a $692,535 award from NASA for simulation and modeling to support definition of Sustainable Land Imaging (SLI) system requirements. The SLI program is committed to extend the nearly 50-year data record of space-borne measurements of the Earth’s surface collected from Landsat’s reflective and thermal instruments.
