RIT honored for 2014 United Way campaign

Rochester Institute of Technology continues to “Live United”—and was honored with the Chairman’s Award for its extraordinary contribution and dedication to the success of the 2014 United Way Campaign in the Greater Rochester community.

With generous donations from the campus community, RIT’s 2014 United Way Campaign exceeded its goals and raised $407,358—which helped the community-wide effort to exceed its goal of $25.5 million.

“The success of this year’s campaign exemplified an incredible effort on the part of the entire RIT community,” said Rowoth. “On behalf of the Steering Committee, we all should be proud not only of this recognition but also of what we continue to do every day. We have the ability to change our world, right here in Rochester, for many years to come.”
