RIT presents documentary on ‘gendercide’ Oct. 18

The Global Health Association @ RIT is hosting a screening of The Three Deadliest Words in the World...It’s a Girl.
The 2012 documentary focuses on the murder, abandonment and abuse of millions of girls in India, China and in other countries. The screening and panel discussion will be begin at 6 p.m. in Golisano Hall, room 1400. Refreshments will be available starting at 5:30 p.m.
Nancy Munson, a registered nurse and wife of RIT President David Munson, will moderate an expert-panel featuring Dr. Sraddha Prativadi, an obstetrician gynecologist with the University of Rochester Medical Faculty Group, and RIT College of Liberal Arts faculty members Rachel McGinnis, visiting assistant professor of sociology; Priti Kalsi, assistant professor of economics; and Corinna Schlombs, assistant professor of history.
