Salles awarded Bengt F. Friberg Award
Lucio Salles, assistant professor in the Department of Civil Engineering Technology, Environmental Management and Safety, received the Bengt F. Friberg Award for Outstanding Paper by a Young Author at the 13th International Conference on Concrete Pavements. The award-winning paper, a collaboration between RIT and the University of Pittsburgh, utilized large language models for accident analysis in the highway construction industry.
