Sarchet-Maher, Graham present on expanding opportunities for deaf people in Vietnam
Thomastine Sarchet-Maher, assistant professor, and Patrick Graham, department chair of NTID’s Master’s in Secondary Education program, presented “Training Teachers for the Deaf: Best Practices” at the Vietnam Association for Education for All conference in Hanoi, Vietnam. They discussed the importance of expanding opportunities for improving access and quality of education for deaf and hard-of-hearing people in Vietnam.

Their work has more than $2 million in funding from the National Science Foundation and Knight Foundation.
