Mark G. Barberio ’85 (accounting)
Principal, Markapital and an RIT trustee
What is your favorite RIT memory?
“While in school I enjoyed being involved with the Residence Hall Association and Student Government. I made a great group of lifelong friends who worked hard and fully enjoyed student life. Twenty-five years after graduation, it’s returning to see the huge, positive changes at RIT. I also got to enjoy being a part of two sons, a niece, cousins, and friends attending RIT and finding their career paths.”
What is your career highlight?
“Advancing from a staff accountant in a $30 million revenue company to co-CEO and CFO of a multi-billion dollar global industrial group, participating in the growth through acquisitions, innovation, and changes in ownership/cultures. Also, learning from and working with some of the smartest business people around the world, while leveraging my experience to add value to companies through board memberships.”
