Saunders College names new program director
Michael Palanski will help build global presence in management and international business
Michael Palanski has been named undergraduate program director of the management and international business Bachelor of Science program at Saunders College of Business. The associate professor in management and Zutes Faculty Fellow assumes his new role immediately.
“Mike brings energy, enthusiasm and a strong desire to positively impact our undergraduate programs,” said Shalini (Shal) Khazanchi, Saunders College department chair and associate professor of management, international business and entrepreneurship. “He recognizes the importance of engaging and collaborating with faculty and staff both on campus here and overseas in continuing to improve our programs; recently he visited RIT Croatia to explore opportunities for collaboration between the two campuses.”
Palanski is very excited to help create educational experiences that help students discover, develop, and live out their unique callings in their careers and lives. “I especially look forward to strengthening our global campus community partnerships to provide unique opportunities for our management and international business students at all of our global campuses,” said Palanski.
A resident of Fairport, Palanski teaches organizational behavior, leadership and business ethics for both undergraduate and graduate students. He holds a Ph.D. in organizational behavior and leadership from the State University of New York at Binghamton, an MS degree in theological studies from Covenant Theological Seminary and a BS degree in business economics from Grove City College.
